RISCO Insurance Brokerage is a full service wholesale insurance broker and managing general agent, specializing in harder-to-place risks for our clients, the independent insurance agency.
Primarily an Excess & Surplus specialty binding authority wholesaler when it opened its doors in Providence, RI in 1988, RISCO Insurance Brokerage, Inc. has evolved into a full-service wholesale brokerage and MGA. RISCO has grown substantially and has the capacity and expertise to handle complicated classes of business. Our experienced and responsive staff delivers superior personalized service, understands the changing market and offers creative solutions for your client’s business.
RISCO’s flagship program for Restaurants, Bars and Taverns started in 1991. The Program handles fine dining, family style and casual dining restaurants. We also write neighborhood bars and taverns, sports bars, wine bars and brewpubs. The program includes liquor liability within the package policy.
The RISCO brokerage team specializes in casualty coverage for manufacturers, distributors, contractors and health care risks. We also represent carriers that specialize in mono-line products liability, aviation and Umbrella/Excess. With these relationships we tailor insurance programs to meet the needs of your higher risk clients.
We have property brokerage markets with the high-value capacity and binding authority companies to handle real estate, habitational and industrial accounts. Vacant properties, high-hazard occupancies and coastal risks are other areas of expertise.
